2025 was an interesting year, to say the least.

Loyal Squad members know that I really struggled with the first draft of Book Three, and I am so proud of myself for finally finishing it, even though I had to adjust my schedule. My goal is to be done with first edits by the end of this month.

I really didn’t like the initial version of this third book, but as I’m working, I’m finding myself coming around. I’ve had The Serrulata Saga inside of me my entire life, and the fact that I’m one step closer to realizing my vision makes my heart happy. Creation is a process and I am so grateful that I’m able to keep going.

No, really… I was on a podcast back in September.

Those of you who follow me on Insta probably see me posting about The Last Action Critics. Every week my pals Ian, Will, and Nora get together and review a movie.

Most of the time, they chat action, but they were very kind to allow me to join them as a guest to talk about one of my favorite movies, Pride and Prejudice (2005).

I had a fantastic time and I’m very grateful they put aside their love of action flicks for a week so we could babble about how amazing this movie is. (And a special shout-out to Ian for breaking out of his comfort zone. Ian, you rock!)
